AB Das Rechtsinstitut des Vereins ist in sich vielfältig strukturiert und differenziert in freie Zusammenschlüsse und kanonische Vereine sowie in laikale und klerikale Vereine. Sie unterscheiden sich nach dem jeweils verfolgten Zweck sowie hinsichtlich der bestehenden oder nicht bestehenden Rechtsfähigkeit. Die demnach gegebene Vielfalt von Vereinigungsformen einerseits, der mit Vereinsautonomie als subjektives Recht gegebene Gestaltungsfreiraum andererseits ermöglichen mannigfache Gestaltungsformen von Vereinszusammenschlüssen. Angesichts der nur rudimentären rechtlichen Erfassung dieser Phänomene im CIC/1983 sollen in einer folgenden Kurzanalyse der Begriff des Vereinsverbandes, dessen rechtsdogmatische Grundlagen, des Weiteren die nach geltendem Recht zulässigen rechtlichen Gestaltungsformen nach Art einer Typologie im Überblick dargestellt und schließlich die Bedeutung der Vereinsautonomie innerhalb der Konföderation am Beispiel der Vereinsaufsicht aufgezeigt werden. Spezifisch ordensrechtliche Fragen werden vom Autor ausgeklammert
