Sumario:Eight brief articles and reports on the Muslim population of South Africa, the religious perspectives of the traditional and progressive forces of the Muslims, small population of Muslims in Botswana, East African Muslims of Swaziland, coexistence of Islam and Christianity in Zimbabwe. Zanzibar's unilateral declaration of membership of the Organisation of Islamic Conference and its very strained relation with the Dar es Salaam government. Islamic propaganda in Zambia, alleged Islamic plan to take over Africa, anti-apartheid struggle of the Muslims in South Africa and challenges for Muslim women to assert their right to pray alongside men in this country.
