Description
Résumé:This article examines to what extent new syncretistic or »heterodox« forms of religiousness have already spread among the population of Russia, in what kind of relationship they stand to the Orthodox Christian religiousness traditional for Russia and what disparities can be registered in the spreading of these forms of religiousness by gender, age or level of education. The empirical results are based on a representative survey conducted in Russia. Since this topic is especially sensitive in the Russian society, the methodological approach used in the survey will be discussed in detail as well.
