In legal terms, this area is the object of a considerable body of case law, and has many several different facets. This article first sets out the fundamental principles of religious freedom, before turning to its effects for education and, particular, the necessary neutrality of its content. It then considers the extent of the limits placed on the religious freedom of eachers by virtue of their role. |
