Thus, this article has two parts. The initial version, providing a settler-colonial reading of the conflict over Jerusalem utilising three concepts: the frontier', othering' in Orientalism, and a Foucauldian application of the creation of docile subjects through an intrusive surveillance structure. The second part, the epilogue, highlights the standoff and concludes that the Palestinian self-mobilisation in Jerusalem demonstrated an ability to break loose from the intense Israeli settler-colonial dynamics. | ||
