Topics include her awareness of the violent, sometimes fatal policing,of African Americans like in the cases of Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown, and her addressing of BLM in the classroom with the aims to unmask whiteness, ask which lives matter, and analyze prophetic literature, by way of biblical texts. The author also notes that BLM has deepened her teaching and academic scholarship.
