AB In the context of the Book of Jeremiah the highly complex texts of Jer 19,1-21,10 serve as an exilic-postexilic reflexion of the catastrophe. At the same time, however, a detailed analysis shows that a lot of text features allow a different interpretation - in view of the approaching war and the current danger of extinction.
