It will be of interest to scholars dealing in general with the Late Bronze Age in the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as those who are specifically examining the Egyptian impact on the southern Levant. The volume is divided into four main parts. Part I provides the reader a typology ofthe relevant Egyptian forms. Part II explores the technological traits of the material under review. Part III is a site-by-site presentation of the Egyptian assemblages, which offers an overall view of the findings under review. Part IV is a concluding discussion. Among other things, the volume provides a chronological framework, an analysis of the repertoire and function of the Egyptian assemblages, and a reflection on how (locally-made) Egyptian-style pottery can be seen as an ethnic marker.-- CN NK3810 SN 9783700171362 K1 Pottery, Egyptian : Palestine K1 Palestine : Antiquities
