Описание
Итог:According to the author, de-industrialisation (throwing many an artisan out of work), absence of a strong industrial capitalist class, land reform, and finally active Hindu prejudice has made the large mass of the Muslim community in India an impoverished one. This is further exacerbated by the absence of the spread of modern education, particularly higher education, amongst them. He examines Muslim grievances and Muslim communalism against the backdrop of Bengal Hindu renaissance. (DÜI-Sen)
