AB Examination of the progressive awakening of African States to the question of Palestine, from its very inception as an international issue with the United Nations partition plan to the present time; the paper suggests that the majority of African states is satisfied with declarations of support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people while generally continuing to view the Middle East conflict from the standpoint of continental solidarity with Egypt.
