Descripción
Sumario:Placed in the middle of ehe Gospel Matt. 14:22-33 is a theologically condensed pomait of Jesus and his disciples which after the decapitation of John the Baptist is set against a backdrop of conflict: That very same Jesus who manages to stop the storm is a victim of persecution himself and as such represents an authencic sheet anchor. Being the Risen Christ he keeps an eye on ehe boat. And just because of ehe unspecified crossing of the lake and the general talk of "those in the boat" the narrative actually asks for being treated figuratively. lt does not give an account of a historically unique incident but depicts a timeless Easter experience.
