AB In Is 42,1 the “chosen” (bḥyr) constitutes a substitution to the royalty of David and corresponds to the prophet new Moses. He represents the fulfilment of Is 8,23- 9,1. This passage prepares the alliance of Is 59,21. This tradition depends of the influence of the Book of Psalms and of the Book of Proverbs.
AB In Jes 42,1 ist der „Erwählte“ (bḥyr) ein Ersatz für das davidische Königtum und entspricht dem Propheten als neuer Mose. Er stellt die Erfüllung von Jes 8,23-9,1 dar. Diese Tradition orientiert sich am Bund nach Jes 59,21 und ist beeinflusst von den Psalmen und dem Buch der Sprüche.
