Die Deutung des Wortes „Ihr seid das Salz der Erde“ (Mt 5,13║) bleibt schwierig, solange man annimmt, dass es sich hierbei um Speisesalz handelt. Die Widersprüche entfallen, wenn man davon ausgeht, dass das Salz Salpeter ist. Salpeter wurde zu Lebzeiten Jesu erzeugt und war Handelsware. |
