| Summary: | Cette étude se propose d’examiner la question des éléments d’unité et de diversité à l’intérieur du monde phénicien d’Orient d’un côté et d’analyser les aspects concernant la continuité et la différentiation présents dans les diverses régions de l’expansion phénicienne en Méditerranée de l’autre. Quant à la culture des Phéniciens de l’Ouest, nous mettrons en évidence d’importantes caractéristiques en matière de diversification d’une région à l’autre (Malte, Sicile, Sardaigne, Afrique du Nord et Péninsule Ibérique), dues en grande partie à l’action des civilisations d’adstrat et de substrat à laquelle les Phéniciens durent faire face durant le processus de leur expansion coloniale. This paper is intended to underline, on the one hand, the concepts of unity and differentiation within the eastern Phoenician world and, on the other hand, to highlight some aspects of continuity and innovation showed, with respect to the motherland, by the regions affected by the Phoenician expansion in the Mediterranean. As for the latter, then, the study will aim to mark the strong characters of diversification in the various regions, largely due to the action of both substrates and adstrates with which the Phoenicians of the diaspora interacted. |
