Description
Résumé:Knowledge and tradition manifested especially in objects brought and saved when fleeing Germany after 1933 not only reminds of the former homeland in exile, but also reflects it one-to-one (this is particularly apparent in the living and eating culture). Thus, these objects become bearers of the old world’s cultural traditions. In a project at the Moses Mendelssohn Center in Potsdam, a digitization concept is currently being developed that collects and contextualizes objects of exile.
