520 |a Dieser Beitrag befasst sich mit der Frage, ob und wie religiöse Bildung als Transformationsprozess verstanden werden kann. Dabei erfolgt zunächst eine Auseinandersetzung mit dem transformatorischen Bildungsbegriff, wie er in der gegenwärtigen Erziehungswissenschaft etwa von Hans-Christoph Koller konzipiert wurde. Anschließend werden ausgewählte theologische und religionspädagogische Konzepte eines transformatorischen Bildungsbegriffes vorgestellt und zum erziehungswissenschaftlichen Ansatz in Bezug gesetzt. Dies dient als Ausgangspunkt für die empirische Untersuchung von transformatorischen Bildungsprozessen in den Biografien polnischstämmiger ReligionslehrerInnen, wobei ein Akzent auf die Frage nach der Relevanz von Fremdheitserfahrungen gelegt wird. Den Abschluss bildet die Frage nach dem Verhältnis von Bildungsprozess und den professionsbezogenen Zielvorstellungen und Überzeugungen der untersuchten Lehrkräfte. 
520 |a This paper deals with the question of whether and to what extent religious education can be regarded as a process of transformation. First of all, the transformational concept of education, as it was put forward within the field of present-day education by authors such as Hans-Christoph Koller, is investigated. Subsequently, selected theological and religious-pedagogical aspects regarding a transformative concept of education are presented and further on related to the educational approach. This serves as a starting point for the empirical evaluation of transformational educational processes in the biographies of religious teachers of Polish origin, focussing on the relevance of experiences of foreignness. The paper concludes with an analysis of the relationship between educational process and professional goals as well as beliefs of the teachers surveyed in this study.
