Holistic in its approach, it reconstructs conversionist piety as a social practice that builds up into pious cultures of body, emotion, and meaning-making. The analytical concepts developed on the way may prove to be a starting point for further empirical research on lived religion in Practical Theology and Religious Studies. | ||
| 520 | |a Welche Praktiken, Gefühle und Selbstkonzepte verbinden sich mit dem Anspruch, bekehrt zu sein? Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt ein Beschreibungsmodell zur Erschließung bekehrungsfrommer Deutungs-, Emotions- und Körperkulturen vor. Indem nachgezeichnet wird, wie sich bekehrungsfromme Sinnstiftungen zu Lebensformen aufschichten und Möglichkeiten ihrer Verstetigung diskutiert werden, versteht sich dieses Analyseinstrument als ein Beitrag zur kultursoziologischen Beschreibung gelebter Religion und darin auch zur Wiedergewinnung praktisch-theologischer Frömmigkeitsforschung. Es schließt an Einsichten sozial- und kulturwissenschaftlicher Konversionsforschung an und bildet diese in der Auseinandersetzung mit einer exemplarischen Konstellation protestantischer Bekehrungsfrömmigkeit fort. | ||
