AB Entgegen der Annahme, der Begriff der ‚Indikation‘ bedürfe entweder einer ergänzenden Bezugnahme auf die individuellen Wünsche des Patienten oder sei sogar gänzlich obsolet, versucht dieser Artikel, die Objektivität dieses Begriffs als notwendige Voraussetzung für den Schutz recht verstandener Autonomie und eine vertrauensvolle Arzt-Patienten-Beziehung zu verteidigen, die auf einer klaren Arbeitsteilung und Verantwortungszuweisung beider Seiten basiert.
AB Contrary to the assumption that the concept of medical indication either needs to be completed by reference to individual wishes of the patient or should even be considered obsolete, this articles tries to defend the objectivity of this concept as a necessary requirement for the protection of a well understood autonomy and a trustful relationship between physicians and their patients which is based on a clear division of labor and responsibility.
