| Resumo: | Im Zuge der Reflexion über die Zuteilung intensivmedizinischer Therapieressourcen im Kontext von COVID-19 wurde u. a. die Frage kontrovers diskutiert, ob die laufende Behandlung einer Person zugunsten eines prognostisch günstigeren Dritten abgebrochen werden dürfe, sofern die bestehenden Ressourcen eine Behandlung beider nicht zuließen (sog. Verlaufs- oder ex-post-Triage). Der vorliegende Beitrag versucht, mittels einer differenzierten Analyse der hierbei möglichen Handlungstypen und einer Problematisierung der medizinischen Indikatoren ärztlicher Urteilsbildung Vorschläge ethisch verantwortbarer Therapiebeendigungen unter Bedingungen akuter Ressourcenknappheit zu unterbreiten. During the reflection on the allocation of intensive care resources in the context of COVID-19, the question received more attention whether a persons current treatment should be interrupted in favour of a third person with a better prognosis, if the existing resources did not allow treatment of both (so-called progression triage). The present article attempts to make suggestions for ethically responsible treatment termination under conditions of acute resource scarcity by means of a differentiated analysis of the possible types of action and a problematisation of the medical indicators of physicians judgement. |
