Descripción
Sumario:The thesis of this book is that Christ, according to the imagery behind Revelation 1:18, descended into the underworld between his death and resurrection to possess the keys previously belonging to Death and Hades. This dissertation is unique because there has not been one monograph, book, commentary or article (among ancient and modern commentators) concerning Revelation 1:18. This passage has been used by some of the Fathers and commentators to this present day as a foundational passage teaching the doctrine of Christ's descent. However, this dissertation is the first to study Revelation 1:18 in a comprehensive way: exegetically, theologically, and historically
