AB Il  tema  della  bellezza  è  stato  ripetutamente  oggetto  di  studio  in  campo  teologico.  Questo vale anche in relazione al pensiero di san Tommaso d’Aquino. L’articolo si propone di riprenderne la valenza alla luce di uno spettro più ampio: dal raffronto con le altre religioni (teoria degli stati relazionali) alla riqualificazione del pulchrumcome  trascendentale.  Il  guadagno  finale  intende  essere  quello  della  necessità  della  rappresentabilità di Dio attraverso la bellezza che, a sua volta, conduce la creazione alla partecipazione dell’origine divina stessa.
AB The theme of beauty has repeatedly been the subject of study in theology. This is also true in relation to the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas. The article aims to take up its value in the light of a wider spectrum: from comparison with other religions (theory of relational states) to the requalification of the pulchrum as transcendental. The final gain  is  meant  to  be  that  of  the  necessity  of  the  representativeness  of God  through beauty which, in turn, leads creation to the participation of the divine origin itself
