| Σύνοψη: | The Second Vatican Council teaches that «the liturgy of the word and the eucharistic liturgy, are so closely connected with each other that they form but one single act of worship» (SC 56). With this statement, the magisterium corrects a purely didactic conception of the first part of the Mass, which maintained a strangeness between the proclamation of the Word and the sacramental event. Theology is called to cast light on the reasons why the proclamation of the Scripture contributes to the ontology of the Sacrament and at the same time the Eucharistic celebration constitutes the original destination of the Scripture itself. The article develops this topic in dialogue with the most significant positions of the contemporary debate. (English) Il Concilio Vaticano II insegna che «la liturgia della parola e la liturgia eucaristica sono congiunte tra di loro così strettamente da formare un solo atto di culto» (SC 56). Con questa affermazione il magistero corregge una concezione meramente didattica della prima parte della Messa, che manteneva una estraneità tra l'annuncio della Parola e l'accadimento sacramentale. La teologia è chiamata ad approfondire le ragioni per cui la proclamazione della Scrittura concorre all'ontologia del sacramento e, correlativamente, la celebrazione eucaristica costituisce la destinazione originaria della Scrittura. L'articolo sviluppa questo tema in dialogo con le posizioni più significative del dibattito contemporaneo. |
