| 总结: | Lester Grabbe has become a well-known figure in the continuing disputes about the course of the history of ancient Israel. In addition to his own detailed surveys and studies of the post-exilic period, he has for some years organized the European Seminar in Historical Methodology, on the basis of which he has edited a growing succession of valuable volumes which each tackle some particular period or problem. Furthermore, to the relief of many, he refuses to be dragooned into either the maximalists’ or the minimalists’ camp; that is to say, he attempts the almost impossible task of approaching the subject without a pre-commitment to either the full historicity or the total denigration of the biblical record., He is thus well placed to write the present volume. |
