Resumo: | The high reputation of François Bovon, formerly of Geneva, currently at Harvard, is justly founded on his magisterial work on the Lukan Doppelwerk and on his pioneering studies of Christian apocryphal writings together with his inspiring and directing several enterprises concerning early non-canonical texts. It is therefore entirely appropriate that in this collection of articles Bovon should select his essays from these two main fields., This reissuing of his articles is the third such collection. An earlier volume appeared as volume 161 in the same series in 2003 (Studies in Early Christianity) and that included 22 articles. The latest cull from his vast output also contains 22 articles, ten appearing now in English for the first time. |
