It is therefore entirely appropriate that in this collection of articles Bovon should select his essays from these two main fields., This reissuing of his articles is the third such collection. An earlier volume appeared as volume 161 in the same series in 2003 (Studies in Early Christianity) and that included 22 articles. The latest cull from his vast output also contains 22 articles, ten appearing now in English for the first time. |
