| Sumario: | This collection of twenty essays, in effect a Festschrift, has been brought together in honour and memory of Gerald T. Sheppard, who died prematurely in 2003. The essays are framed by a biographical sketch of Sheppard at the beginning and a bibliography of his published works at the end.
