Since then this field of research has changed drastically and in an indistinct way, leaving beginners in biblical studies in troubled uncertainty. It is therefore more than welcome that four distinguished scholars have joined forces in composing this fresh and very readable introduction., The opening chapter (pp. 1–10) sketches the present state of Pentateuchal studies in a comprehensive way. |
