AB The stylistic analysis of the Acts of John and the Acts of Thomas according to the standard criteria of « good Greek » reveals a style which theoretically is « impossible » because it is at the same time rhetorical and semitic. This is typical for a « Church style », which presupposes the Septuagint as well as the New Testament.
