AB This article focuses on the introduction of a protestant mission in anindigenous community in Colombia. The establishment of this cultural contactcatholicism and its social and cultural impact- and local and regional implicationsof this religious irruption are described in this work. It explores this newcolectivity’s interests and consequences and how it could change the indigenouscommunity social history- missionary activities, rebellious natives’ interests,fights and manipulations.
