| Σύνοψη: | Mapping Religionswissenschaft was an attempt to institute a sustainable discourse for young researchers in the study of religion. The project aimed at relating and networking researchers, and introducing alternative and original channels, media, and methods of communication beyond the existing and traditional, such as conferences, publications, institutions, and associations. This essay ponders the possibilities and boundaries, questions sense and nonsense, and debates the need of such a project’s design and desiderata. Mit Mapping Religionswissenschaft wurde versucht, unter der Überschrift „Vernetzung“ einen nachhaltigen Diskurs für religionswissenschaftliche Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen jenseits von bestehenden Institutionen, Publikationen und Konferenzen (und der Mailingliste Yggdrasil) zu schaffen. Das Essay reflektiert Möglichkeiten und Grenzen bzw. Sinn und Unsinn und (in)offizielle Kommunikationsräume auf, die im Projekt geschehene Weise neu zu schaffen. |
