AB Contrairement à ce que plusieurs pensent, ce n'est pas parce que le Ps 25 est un poème acrostiche alphabétique qu'il est décadent et qu'il n'est pas rigoureusement construit. L'étude précise de sa composition, selon les lois spécifiques de la rhétorique biblique et sémitique, de même que sa mise en perspective avec un certain nombre de textes qui entrent en résonnance avec lui, permet d'aboutir à une interprétation renouvelée : ce très beau psaume chante la nouvelle alliance. Contrary to what many people think, the fact that Psalm 25 is an alphabetic acrostic poem, in no way means that it is not rigorously constructed. The careful study of the composition of the Psalm, according to the laws of biblical and Semitic rhetoric, and its comparison with a number of other texts that resonate with it, allow us to arrive at a new and fresh interpretation: this beautiful psalm, in fact, sings of the new covenant.
