À partir d'ouvertures récentes de la recherche, l'article fait émerger certaines priorités méthodologiques: il s'agira de privilégier les enquêtes sur des phénomènes circonscrits (à préférer aux hypothèses d'ensemble), sur la base d'analogies empiriques, dans une attention redoublée à l'herméneutique biblique et au statut du récit historiographique de la Bible en tant que «mémoire culturelle». For the 1993 document of the Biblical Commission, the historical-critical method represents the royal way in biblical exegesis. How to implement the historical and critical inquiry nowadays, when the method itself is at a crossroads? On the basis of new fronts in current research, the article indicates some methodological priorities: the importance of local phenomena (rather than comprehensive hypotheses), based on empirical analogies, with a special attention to biblical hermeneutics and to the identity of biblical historiography as «cultural memory». | ||
