AB La publication du Motu proprio du pape François Traditionis custodes et l’arrivée de la nouvelle traduction du Missel romain offrent l’opportunité de relire l’histoire et de rappeler le sens de la réforme liturgique initiée par Vatican ii. S’agissait-il d’une nouvelle perception de la liturgie ? L’espérance et les tensions qu’elle a pu susciter continuent d’agiter l’Église latine, tiraillée par des courants reposant sur des conceptions variées de la liturgie. L’article cherche à mettre en lumière le sens de la liturgie, tel que nous le transmet le magistère, qu’il nous faut avant tout accueillir comme œuvre de Dieu (Opus Dei) pour son peuple.
AB The publication of Pope Francis’ Motu Proprio Traditionis custodes and the arrival of the new French translation of the Roman Missal offer an opportunity to re-read history and recall the meaning of the liturgical reform initiated by Vatican ii. Was it a new perception of the liturgy? The hope and the tensions that it may have generated continue to agitate the Latin Church, which is riven by currents based on different conceptions of the liturgy. The article seeks to highlight the meaning of the liturgy, as transmitted to us by the magisterium, which we must above all accept as the work of God (Opus Dei) for his people.
