Korsgaard reprend cette justification formelle de la pratique humaine et l’élargit avec les pensées de l’identité pratique et de l’autoconstitution de telle sorte que, d’une part, la justification de la pratique humaine est assurée par la raison et, d’autre part, les motifs explicatifs sont obtenus à partir de ce que l’agent veut représenter dans le monde. Quelque chose est important pour lui - il est important pour lui-même. Il s’agit d’une partie de la pratique humaine que nous partageons avec d’autres formes de vie consciente et qui ne peut donc pas être sans rapport avec nos relations mutuelles. | ||

However, the desired foundation cannot be found in Kant and remains nothing more than a formal practical principle as far as dignity is concerned. Korsgaard takes this formal justification of human practice and expands it with thoughts of practical identity and self-constitution in such a way that, on the one hand, the justification of human practice is ensured by reason, and, on the other hand, the explanatory motives are obtained from what the agent wants to represent in the world. Something is important to the agent - it is important to the agent himself. This is a part of human practice that we share with other forms of conscious life and therefore cannot be irrelevant to our mutual relations. | ||
