Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The relationship between Allport's "Intrinsic/Extrinsic Religious Orientation Scale" and a measure of intrinsic/ extrinsic orientation toward work was investigated in a sample of 58 male and 76 female college students. In addition, the relationship between measures of intrinsic/ extrinsic orientation toward work and a measure of report of mystical experience was also investigated. Predicted patterns of significant correlations were obtained for the female subjects but not for the male subjects. The sex differences were discussed in terms of Deci's conceptualization of the processes affecting intrinsic motivation.
