| Resumo: | The present conference has posed the problem of writing both as task and as art, i.e. as an act that is simultaneously both ethical and aesthetic. This article seeks to invert these perspectives, showing first of all that, for Kierkegaard, the fact of not writing, or of interrupting writing, can be seen as an ethical-religious task, if writing is born out of melancholy while at the same time nourishing it. Secondly, an ethical-religious piece of writing must be disinterested, which for Kierkegaard means that it may not attempt to be a work of art, since he takes any aesthetic act to be an interested act. Finally, the article demonstrates the impossibility of guaranteeing the ethical-religious character of a piece of writing, and of eschewing all aesthetic interest. And yet, ethical-religious writing remains a possibility. RésuméLe colloque pose le problème de l’écriture à la fois comme tâche et comme art, c’est-à-dire comme un acte en même temps éthique et esthétique. L’article tente de renverser ces points de vue, en montrant d’abord que, pour Kierkegaard, le fait de ne pas écrire ou bien d’interrompre l’écriture peut se présenter comme une tâche éthico-religieuse, si l’écriture relève de la mélancolie et en même temps la nourrit. En second lieu, une écriture éthico-religieuse doit être désintéressée, ce qui, pour Kierkegaard, veut dire qu’elle ne doit pas essayer d’être une œuvre d’art, puisque, pour lui, chaque acte esthétique est intéressé. Enfin, l’article montre l’impossibilité d’assurer à l’écriture un caractère éthico-religieux et d’effacer chaque intérêt esthétique. Cependant une écriture éthico-religieuse est possible. |
