The paper has two main parts: firstly, it gives an exposition of the theoretical issues within both the discipline of sociology and the subfield of the sociology of knowledge; secondly, these concepts are applied to the text, and the data that result from this application interpreted. Some possible inferences are tentatively drawn from the result. |
