This article descriptionbes the temporal order of the incidents in Luke 12:35- 48, the imagined social context, and the narrator's ideological perspective that knowledge entails responsibility. It suggests reason for a ""second"" story in Luke 12:35-48, similar to that in Luke-Acts as a narrative whole.
