Since its founding this new religion relates food with individual destiny and with the spiritual enhancement, specially through the abstinence of meat-based dishes. Nowadays, these dietary guidelines seek to meet environmental issues, for this reason the table becomes a place to cultivate the well-being and spiritual harmony with nature. The study is divided into three dimensions: dietary, ritualistic, and ecologic, which convey a nuance of religious sense of food engaged by the Seicho-no-Ie.
