Riepilogo:Computational methods offer a valuable potential for new approaches to New Testament and early Christian ethics. They can contribute to studies in the reception of ancient ethical concepts as well as comparative research on the use of any given term or concept in antiquity. This paper explores the potential of blended reading approaches, which combine computational methods with the established approaches of philological interpretation of individual texts. The article briefly presents and discusses corpus-analytical procedures, such as cooccurrence analysis, the potentials of working with Biblindex as well as of procedures of automatic citation recognition and the manifold possibilities of working with annotated databases
