The theme of the Congress - sustainability - is situated in the interplay between the highest level of urgency in world society and the fact that this is largely being ignored in modern culture and theology. This contribution suggests a central approach to the topic in pastoral theology and offers helpful first steps using the keywords metamorphoses, postgrowth economy, the great transformation, hope in an almighty God, freedom and conversion, joy and leisure. |
