It is essentially a relationship culminating in our communion with God. The foundation of Christian prayer is Jesus’ own experience of prayer and his teachings about prayer. Before he taught his disciples about prayer, first he lived the life of prayer. Some important prayer moments in Jesus’ life, which reveal his deepest personality, are mentioned in the Gospels, and these are typical of his life-style. | ||
