Описание
Итог:This article is presented as a brief survey of the present state of research on the emergence of Jewish apocalyptic. Part I discusses apocalyptic against a general religiophenomenological background. Part II demonstrates how recent research mainly points to the prophecy and wisdom literature of the Hebrew Bible as the background from which Jewish apocalyptic literature emerged. Part III points out that many of the single motives and features of Jewish apocalyptic literature come from the neighbouring religions. The main conception, however, is genuinely Jewish and must be understood on the basis of the Hebrew Bible. Part IV rounds up by maintaining that Jewish apocalyptic is to be understood as a genuine Jewish form of expression. It has mainly emerged from the prophetic writings and wisdom literature of the Hebrew Bible. Elements and features from other religions seem to have been brought about by syncretistic popular religion in the time after the exile.
