Descrição
Resumo:Ruth Alipaz Cuqui and Rosalía Matene Mosua, two women born in Amazonia, share their thoughts and feelings about the fight for Amazonian territory, a synonym for a space for life. Their sense of the territory is closely linked to life, that is, with the Common Home. The principles of freedom and respect safeguard the life-forms that have Amazonia as their shared home. This is how the territory can be understood as a sacred, or spiritual, place. The difficulties and dangers that threaten the Amazonian territory are essentially to do with the fact that human beings have forgotten their feeling of belonging to this territory.
