Sumario:grims' routes, and agricultural monasteries dotted the landscape. Around the Galilee, the Roman cities slowly became Christian (Akko-Ptolemais, Bet Shean-Scythopolis, and Susita-Hippos). We can clearly identify three clusters of Christian societies in the Galilee: western Galilee, central lower Galilee, and the area of the Sea of Galilee. The rest of the area was inhabited by Jewish villages.
