| Riepilogo: | This paper analyzes evangelical groups actions, inside and outside the State, on issues related to the gender agenda. Three cases were analyzed: the proposed bill that criminalizes homophobia; the so-called gender ideology; and law projects on abortion. The information regarding the cases were gathered through secondary literature. In the three cases, through the lens of Public Religion and mutual constitution between civil society and state, we show that evangelical actors dispute language and incorporate categories and values of non-religious actors, a result of the interactions between them. |
