AB Die Schwerpunkte der Zeitschrift werden im Gesamtzusammenhang der Lage der Wissenschaft vom Kanonischen Recht eingeordnet: Erstens werden rechtsdogmati-sche Themen im Zuge der Transparenz wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens explizit behandelt. Zwei-tens wird derrechtsfortbildenden Kraft der Rechtsapplikation durch Veröffentlichung und Kommentierung einzelner Urteile und Verwaltungsentscheide Rechnung getragen. Drittens wird innertheologisch ausgehend von demgemeinsamen Materialobjekt und außertheolo-gisch basierend auf gemeinsamen Rechtstraditionen und der erkenntnisleitenden Differenz im Materialobjekt der interdisziplinäre Dialog gefördert.
AB The focus of the journal is placed in the overall context of the situation of the science of canon law: First, legal dogmatic issues are explicitly adressed in the course of transparency of scientific work. Secondly, the law-forming power of the legal application is taken into account by publishing and commenting on individual judgments and administrative decisions. Thirdly, interdiciplinary dialogue is to be promoted within theology on the basis of the common material object and outside theology on the basis of common legal traditions and the epistemological difference in the material object.
