AB Pastoralpsychologie entstand als kirchenkritischer Ansatz, um anthropologische Erkenntnisse aus Psychoanalyse, Gruppendynamik und Gesprächspsychotherapie in Seelsorge, Verkündigung und Ausbildung einzubringen. Die Fokussierung auf das living human document ist ein Markenzeichen. Pastoralpsychologie dringt immer mehr in kirchliche Strukturen und Leitungsämter vor. Wie kann in Zeiten kirchlicher Umbrüche das Anliegen, ‚nahe am Menschen zu sein‘ bewahrt werden?
AB Pastoral psychology emerged as a church-critical approach to bring anthropological insights from psychoanalysis, group dynamics, and  client-centered  therapy into pastoral care and education. The focus on the living human document is a hallmark. Pastoral psychology is increasingly important for church structures and leadership offices. How can the concern "to be close to people" be preserved in times of ecclesial upheaval?
