By combining different radiocarbon sampling strategies used over the years of excavation, an absolute chrono-cultural scheme is constructed for the latter half of the 2nd millennium b.c.e. with a focus on the transition to the Iron Age. This chronology is then synchronized with several nearby sites. K1 Ashkelon K1 Iron Age K1 Philistine K1 radiocarbon DO 10.1086/714738
