AB Oferecer uma apresentação breve e alguns destaques textuais da Exortação Apostólica Laudate Deum sobre a crise climática atual, do Papa Francisco, é o objetivo principal deste ensaio. Indo diretamente ao conteúdo do documento, a proposta é lê-lo sob as lentes teóricas do ensino social católico, mormente da ecologia integral presente na Carta Encíclica Laudato Si', e do pensamento complexo de Edgar Morin. O ensaio oferece, ainda, acenos educacionais para os dias de hoje, à vista de propor alguns saberes necessários a uma formação humana que compreenda que tudo está interligado ou tecido junto, as implicações ambientais e sociais da fé cristã e a exigência de que o autêntico louvor cristão a Deus demanda coerência entre aquilo que é professado e aquilo que é vivido também em relação à Casa Comum.
AB The main objective of this essay is to offer a brief presentation and some textual highlights of Pope Francis’ Apostolic Exhortation Laudate Deum on the current climate crisis. The proposal is to read the document directly through the theoretical lenses of Catholic social teaching, especially the integral ecology present in the Encyclical Letter Laudato Si', and the complex thought of Edgar Morin. The essay also offers educational references for today, aiming to propose some knowledge necessary for a human formation that understands that everything is interconnected or woven together, the environmental and social implications of the Christian faith and the requirement that authentic Christian praise to God it demands coherence between what is professed and what is lived also in relation to the Common Home.
